It is with a very heavy heart that I have to make the announcement that Swiftel Thunder has been cancelled for this year 2010.

Because of a down economy I have had several sponsors contact me stating that they are unable to fufill their sponsorship promises this year which has left me with insuffecient time to secure the proper funding needed to put on a top notch event.

I cannot in my heart put on a less than 100% event as the racers & fans deserve nothing less.

I have a geniune passion for karting & have never done this for the money but I simply cannot afford to lose thousands of dollars to have a less than 100% event.

I sincerly appologize to everyone who has supported me in the past & hope you do so again in 2011.

I have always been up front & honest with everyone & promise you that I will begin planning for Swiftel Thunder 2011.

I truly hope to see you all in 2011 as we all continue to grow this event together.
